Yearly salary: £36,887.21

Location: Mobile covering Ipswich, Felixstowe and surrounding areas

Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-2:30pm)

Job Description

As a Plumber, you’ll carry out a variety of plumbing and related repairs and maintenance tasks on [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] properties. Your daily duties will include installing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures, assembling and installing component parts and fittings, cleaning damp and mould, and carrying out void clearances and flood repairs. You’ll also identify and arrange the removal of asbestos when needed.

Requirements

  • Full Trade Apprenticeship or NVQ level 2 in a relevant trade, or proven trade experience in plumbing
  • Good mechanical skills, including repairing or replacing parts and identifying root causes of plumbing issues
  • Strong customer service, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Competence in Microsoft applications such as Outlook and Teams
  • Full driving licence and willingness to participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota, including Public Holidays, when required
