What You’ll Do

As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, improve, and test the control systems of our high‑speed packaging machines. You’ll work on complex motion applications and contribute to both new machine concepts and enhancements of existing platforms. Your ideas and insights matter, you’ll actively help shape technical decisions and innovation. You’ll collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and project engineering colleagues to ensure smart, high‑quality, and reliable machine solutions.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimise, and maintain PLC and motion control software for high‑speed packaging machines
  • Configure and implement [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] HMI solutions
  • Test software during workshop build and machine validation
  • Conduct IO tests, functional tests, and support FATs
  • Support commissioning and machine start-ups at customer sites (national & international; max. 30% travel)
  • Analyse technical issues and translate them into practical software solutions
  • Contribute to standardization and improvement of software libraries
  • Identify opportunities to enhance machine performance and reliability
