FULL DESCRIPTION

Software Testing Consultant

We are looking for a Software Testing Consultant to support the development, testing, and implementation of software applications, computing systems, and data-driven solutions.

The candidate will analyse system requirements, design and execute test cases, identify defects, and collaborate with software developers, engineers, and data specialists throughout the software development lifecycle.

The role also includes testing data pipelines, analytical systems, and model-driven applications to ensure data accuracy, system reliability, and technical performance.

The Software Testing Consultant will contribute to the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-quality digital and software solutions across multiple platforms and computing environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute manual and automated test cases for software and data-driven applications
  • Analyse system and data requirements, technical specifications, and architecture documents
  • Test data pipelines, analytics outputs, and system integrations for accuracy and reliability
  • Identify, log, and track software and data-related defects and verify fixes
  • Collaborate with developers, engineers, and data scientists during implementation and testing
  • Support integration, regression, and performance testing across computing environments
  • Contribute to software and data quality standards and continuous improvement of development processes

Skill & Experience

  • Degree in Computing, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies and data lifecycle concepts
  • Experience with test tools, defect tracking systems, and version control
  • Understanding of data analysis, databases, and basic statistical or machine learning concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
