[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Optometry are working with a reputable Independent Optical and Hearing company who are seeking an Assistant Optical Practice Manager to join them in their practice in Penzance.

As an Assistant Optical Practice Manager you will be responsible for the running of the store in the absence of the Practice Manager, this will include supervising optical staff, driving business growth and ensuring the smooth running and profit of the practice.

The successful candidate should be both technically and commercially aware with good managerial skills in order to drive an efficient and effective branch. Ideally you will be able to dispense however non-dispensing candidates such as experienced Retail Managers or those with Optical advisor experience will also be considered.

• Work to store/company targets
• Ensure customers receive an excellent service
• Provide training with support
• Stay up to date with the latest optical developments
• Motivate and always be on hand to support your team.
• Have excellent communication skills
