Job Description
Flame Health is working with a high-end independent optical practice in Oxford to recruit a GOC-registered Dispensing Optician. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced dispensing professional to join a modern, fashion-led optical environment while benefiting from a genuine Monday to Saturday working schedule. The practice has built a strong reputation for delivering premium eyewear, personalised dispensing services and exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert optical dispensing advice and patient care
- Assist patients with frame styling and lens selection
- Maintain the highest standards of customer service and patient experience
- Support frame buying and product selection
- Contribute to pricing strategies and product positioning
- Assist with elements of practice development and recruitment support
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth running of the practice
Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be a GOC-registered Dispensing Optician who combines strong clinical knowledge with a passion for eyewear fashion and styling. Key attributes include:
- GOC registration (essential)
- Strong understanding of optical dispensing and patient care
- Commercial awareness and confidence within a retail optical environment
- Genuine interest in premium eyewear and frame styling
