Role Overview

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the practice, ensuring the delivery of outstanding clinical and customer service standards. You will lead from the front, driving performance, supporting your team and maintaining a strong focus on the overall patient journey. This role requires a commercially aware and people-focused leader who can balance operational efficiency with a high standard of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading, coaching and developing the practice team
  • Managing rotas, staffing levels and holiday planning
  • Overseeing diary management and booking efficiency
  • Monitoring KPIs, managing budgets and maintaining effective stock control
  • Ensuring operational and compliance standards are consistently met
  • Delivering an exceptional patient experience at every touchpoint

Requirements

  • GOC-registered Dispensing Optician (FBDO qualified)
  • Previous experience in a leadership or management capacity
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to motivate and develop a team

Package & Benefits
