Job Description

The role requires experience in the optical industry, and the key focus is on providing an exceptional customer experience in both clinical and retail settings. As a first point of contact for patients, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, handling customer queries, and ensuring the practice is welcoming and well-organised.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a welcoming, front-of-house service, managing customer interaction from arrival to departure.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency.
- Work closely with the practice manager to foster a positive team environment.
- Handle diary management, patient appointments, and retail sales when necessary.
- Serve as a liaison between customers and the clinical team, contributing to a smooth flow of operations.
Skills and Experience Required
- Optical dispensing experience
- Experience with Optix software (desirable but not essential).
- Strong leadership, organisational, and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot issues.
