The Opportunity
This role offers an Audiologist the opportunity to work within two independent practice settings where there is genuine clinical autonomy and the ability to provide high-quality, tailored hearing care solutions. You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive audiology services while maintaining the highest standards of patient care throughout the entire patient journey. The role can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis, providing flexibility while working within a supportive and collaborative clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and diagnostic testing
- Provide professional hearing aid recommendations, fittings and adjustments
- Deliver ongoing aftercare and rehabilitation support
- Manage patient consultations with a focus on personalised treatment plans
- Ensure all patients receive a premium hearing care experience
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional standards
- Support colleagues when required to ensure the practice operates smoothly and efficiently
Clinical Environment
The successful candidate will benefit from working within two practices in the County Durham area that values clinical excellence and modern audiology techniques, with access to high-quality diagnostic equipment and the latest hearing technology. The role also provides the opportunity to remain up to date with current audiology advancements and best practice, ensuring patients receive the highest level of care.
The Ideal Candidate
Our client is seeking an Audiologist who demonstrates both clinical expertise and a strong commitment to patient care. The ideal candidate will have:
- HCPC registration as a Hearing Aid Dispenser or Audiologist
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Audiology or a related discipline
- Experience in hearing loss rehabilitation and tinnitus management
- Strong audiology assessment and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of ENT procedures and micro-suction techniques (desirable)
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
