Location: Brightlingsea, Essex

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum

Job Description

An independent optician client is seeking a committed, personable Optometrist to join their team. The role involves working across three small community practices in the Colchester region, each with one consulting room, supported by a Dispenser and Receptionist. Practices are equipped with OCT, Tono-Vera, Thomson Test Chart, and Optix PMS.

Initially, the position will provide maternity cover at one store, then transition to a multi-site role. The ideal candidate values personalised patient care, works well independently, and enjoys variety.

Requirements

  • Qualified Optometrist comfortable working independently
  • Strong patient care and clinical focus
  • Ability to work across multiple practices
  • Experience with OCT and diagnostic equipment preferred
