Job Description

Position: Hearing Aid Audiologist (HCPC registered) – clinic based in Merthyr Tydfil. Hours: Part-time – 3 Days. Salary: FTE £40,000 per annum + car allowance, bonus and an extensive company benefits package.

Our client is recognised for delivering high-quality, patient-focused audiology services and for investing in modern technology, professional development and strong clinical governance.

Job Overview

As a qualified Hearing Aid Audiologist with a minimum of two years’ post-qualification experience, you will take responsibility for managing your own clinics and delivering comprehensive hearing assessments, fittings and aftercare services to the highest professional standards. The role centres on providing customer-centric hearing care solutions, offering expert advice and recommending appropriate products from a full portfolio to meet individual patient needs.

  • Conduct otoscopy, pure tone audiometry, impression taking, hearing aid programming and fine-tuning in line with BSA recommendations and company protocols.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records via an electronic patient management system.
  • Adhere to regulatory, professional and health and safety standards.
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness, working towards activity goals, KPIs and revenue targets.
  • Support promotion of hearing care services to drive growth and enhance patient experience.

Candidate Requirements

  • BSc in Audiology or equivalent qualification in Hearing Aid Dispensing from a recognised provider.
  • Full registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Minimum two years’ post-qualification experience.
  • Strong understanding of audiological principles and consistent high clinical audit performance.
  • Proven ability to achieve commercial objectives.
  • Evidence of ongoing CPD and commitment to professional development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organisation and attention to detail.
