Laser Optometrist – Central London

Job Description
Flame Health Optometry are proud to be recruiting for an exceptional Optometrist to join one of the UK's most prestigious and innovative refractive surgery providers, operating across three state-of-the-art clinics in Central London. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside world-class Ophthalmic Surgeons and a highly skilled clinical team, providing outstanding pre- and post-operative care to patients undergoing a wide range of advanced vision correction treatments.
The Role
The successful Optometrist will work across multiple high-end London clinics, supporting patients through their vision correction journey — from initial assessment to post-surgical follow-up. You will be involved in:
- Conducting detailed diagnostic and suitability examinations
- Managing pre- and post-operative consultations for procedures including Laser Vision Correction (SMILE, LASIK, PRK/LASEK) and Lens-based Surgery (ICL, RLE, EDOF, trifocal, toric IOLs)
- Collaborating closely with surgeons and clinical colleagues to ensure exceptional patient care
- Contributing to continuous improvement and clinical excellence within a premium healthcare setting
About You
- GOC-registered Optometrist with 2–3 years+ experience
- Strong general optometry background (experience in refractive or surgical settings advantageous but not essential)
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Flexible and motivated to work across multiple Central London clinics
