Salary: Up to £34,000 depending on experience

About the Opportunity

Flame Health Optical been instructed on a new opportunity for a Qualified Dispensing Optician based in Central Nottingham. Our multi-award-winning independent client is an expanding, dynamic independent optician that provides premium eye care solutions and a bespoke personal service. They are now actively looking for an ambitious, proven performer to come and join their team.

The Role

The Dispensing optician will need to have a demonstrable track record of achievement coupled with strong commercial awareness, an eye for detail, a significant interest in optical fashion trends and be up to date with the latest clinical advancements and be able to do this autonomously. As you will be responsible for providing a premium service, from a customer service perspective, it is all about the patient journey and exceeding expectations throughout. Our client is passionate about ensuring they are always leading the way when it comes to frames, lenses, contact lenses and specialist services to their patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide top-notch clinical judgment and hands-on approach.
• Provide expert dispensing advice and help patients with frame and lens selection
• Develop rapport with the team and contribute to driving the business forward.
• Help with advanced services including Lens, repairs and fittings
• Be an integral part of the team, always looking for ways to improve

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate will be:

• Qualified and GOC registered Dispensing Optician.
• Demonstrable experience of working as a Dispensing Optician.
• A commitment to exceptional customer care and professional growth
• Confident communicator with strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Proactive, motivated, and commercially aware.
