Dental Practice Manager

Location: Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire

Salary: £14 per hour

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Job Description

Flame Health are currently working in partnership with a well-established, modern dental practice in Melton Mowbray to recruit an experienced and motivated Clinic Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident leader to manage the day-to-day operations of a busy dental clinic, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, strong team performance, and full compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the dental clinic
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the clinical and non-clinical team
  • Ensure compliance with CQC, GDC, NHS, and internal policies
  • Manage staff rotas, performance, and absence
  • Maintain high standards of patient care and service delivery
  • Act as the main point of contact for patients, staff, and external bodies
  • Support clinicians with operational and administrative requirements
  • Manage audits, inspections, and governance processes
  • Handle escalated patient queries and complaints professionally
  • Participate in the rotational on-call system as required

Main Duties

  • Ensure all practice policies and procedures are followed consistently
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of staff
  • Promote a positive, professional working environment
  • Monitor KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure effective communication across the practice team
