We are recruiting an experienced Optometrist / Contact Lens Specialist to join this clinically led team on a full-time or part-time basis. Currently supported by locums, this is a genuine opportunity to step into a permanent, valued clinical role within a forward-thinking and collaborative environment.

The Role

This is a specialist, patient-focused position, ideal for an optometrist with strong clinical experience and a passion for delivering outstanding outcomes. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, managing complex cases and contributing to the continued development of the practice's specialist services. The practice has a growing demand for advanced contact lens care, including orthokeratology (Ortho-K), myopia management, and specialty lens fitting.

Key Requirements

• GOC-registered Optometrist
• Strong clinical and patient-centred approach
• Experience with contact lenses, including orthokeratology (Ortho-K), highly desirable
• Hospital, specialist, or extended-role experience advantageous
• IP qualification preferred (but not essential)
• Moorfields experience or strong ophthalmology links welcomed
• Available to work full-time or a minimum of 2–3 days per week
