[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is delighted to recruit on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded optical group in the London area. We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Optometrist to join their dedicated team on a full or part-time basis.

The Role

As an Optometrist, you will:

  • Conduct 40-minute comprehensive eye examinations
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of eye conditions
  • Prescribe and dispense ophthalmic lenses
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients
  • Educate patients on eye health and superior eyewear choices
  • Fit and supply complex contact lenses
  • Deliver dry eye management programmes

This is an on-site role, offering you the opportunity to work closely with patients and a highly supportive clinical team.

Qualifications & Experience

We are looking for an Optometrist with:

  • Skills in conducting comprehensive eye examinations and managing eye disease
  • Proficiency in prescribing ophthalmic lenses and providing surgical aftercare
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
  • A valid license to practice optometry in the UK
  • Experience in fitting contact lenses and dry eye management (beneficial but not essential)
  • Previous experience in a highly clinical setting (advantageous, but not essential)
