The Role

The Practice Manager will support the day-to-day running of the practice, working closely with the senior management team to ensure the branch operates efficiently, profitably, and to the highest professional standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the management of daily practice operations
• Supervising, motivating, and developing team members
• Driving business growth and commercial performance
• Ensuring excellent customer and patient care standards
• Maintaining smooth operational processes and profitability
• Supporting the delivery of practice objectives and KPIs

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate will be both commercially and technically aware, with a strong understanding of optical practice operations.

• Previous experience in optical practice management or retail management
• Optical experience preferred
• Fully qualified Dispensing Optician desirable, though not essential
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to drive efficiency, performance, and team engagement
