[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Audiology are working with an established, high-end independent healthcare group that is continuing to grow, develop and diversify its Audiology business. They are now looking to recruit an Audiologist / Hearing Aid Dispenser in Dundee to support their Audiology Team working across their network of practices in the area.
Candidate Criteria
- HCPC registered Audiologist / Hearing Aid Dispenser and have a valid driving licence
- Able to demonstrate an aptitude for working as a team member in promoting Audiology within an Optical environment
- Passionate about providing high-quality care
- Enthusiastic, be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Carry out hearing assessments, programming devices and provide the best possible customer experience.
- Wax removal if required
Duties Include
- Carrying out thorough examinations to determine the health of the outer and inner ear
- Carrying out hearing assessments to determine the possible need for hearing correction
- Carrying out wax removal as required (training will be provided if necessary)
- Providing the best advice on which hearing systems may be most suitable for patients hearing loss and lifestyle requirements
- Programming these hearing aids and completing a rehabilitation process with the patient through a series of follow-up appointments
- Managing hearing clinics, diary management and liaising with suppliers regarding products and technology requirements and stock
