Job Description

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Optometry is recruiting for an Optometrist in Glasgow, supporting a leading private eye care provider within a specialist clinical Flagship setting. This is an excellent opportunity for an Optometrist seeking to develop their clinical career across refractive surgery, cataract care, premium intraocular lens procedures, and advanced eye examinations. The role offers a salary of up to £70,000, flexible full-time or part-time working patterns, access to advanced diagnostic technology, and structured clinical training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pre-operative and post-operative consultations for refractive and cataract surgery patients
  • Clinical support for Ophthalmologists
  • Essential and advanced eye examinations
  • Patient education and care throughout the treatment journey
  • Working within a multidisciplinary clinical team

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified and GOC-registered Optometrist
  • Strong clinical standards and patient-first approach
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Interest in refractive surgery, cataract care, or Independent Prescribing (advantageous)
