Location: Barnsley | Salary: £42,000 + uncapped commission (circa £120k) | Type: Permanent | Reference: FH38967
Job Description
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]’s Audiology division is recruiting for an ambitious and self-motivated Audiologist / HAD in the Barnsley area to join one of the leading optical/hearing care groups. Our client is looking for audiologists who want to make a difference and be different, working collaboratively to drive excellence in clinical standards.
- Use audiometric and otoscopic test equipment to agreed HPC and Company standards, ensuring current calibration requirements are met.
- Select and demonstrate hearing aids, whenever and wherever appropriate, to agreed standards and carry out the fitting of hearing aids.
- Complete service appointments and rehabilitation appointments and re-fitting of hearing aids as necessary and on time.
- Take aural impressions for the manufacture of hearing aids to agreed standards.
Skills & Competencies Required
- Qualified HAD or Pre Registered HAD
- Hold current HCPC licence
- Hold current driving licence
- IT skills at a level that enables the use of the companies laptop and audiometric equipment
- Time and job management abilities to allow a well-planned and structured approach to workload
