Job Description

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s Optometry division have an exciting opportunity for an Optical Practice Manager- DO qualified to join an innovative and growing independent company with branches across the country. This is an established, leading independent practice group and due to its success they now need to grow and add to the already strong team.

This practice prides itself on loyalty and patient trust. You will of course have excellent, current DO and management skills, a warm persona and an ability to engage and build rapport with patients. We are looking to seek someone with confidence to operate effectively and positively as a team player, to determine the best solutions for clients and assist in all aspects of the practice management. You will be an ambassador for the company and the first point of contact for anyone visiting the practice so a self confident, friendly and customer focussed individual is required.

Responsibilities

  • Coach, mentor, train and develop your team
  • Manage performance
  • Ensure that the practice is adhering and achieving to all operational standards set
  • Manage all aspects of the practice rota

Requirements

  • Must be a qualified Dispensing Optician (FBDO)
  • Proven management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service
  • Ability to work 5 days per week (no Sundays)
