Job Description

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is currently working with a long-established, high-end independent practice in South Manchester to recruit a full-time Optical Advisor. This respected practice has served the local community for over 30 years and has built an excellent reputation for outstanding patient care, premium eyewear, and professional clinical standards.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting patients throughout their journey, delivering excellent service, assisting with dispensing, and helping the practice run efficiently day to day. Working hours are 9:00am – 5:30pm, with some Saturday working required.

Candidate Requirements

At least 2 years of Optical experience
Strong communication skills
Confidence working efficiently in a busy environment
Ability to answer telephone enquiries, book appointments, and respond to emails
Strong IT skills including email, spreadsheets, and word processing
Experience with pre-screening adults and children (advantageous)
Adaptable, proactive, and willing to support colleagues
