Our client is a highly respected, fully independent Opticians based in the Chelmsford area. Truly independent in its approach, the practice has built an excellent local reputation for delivering outstanding patient care, personalised service, and high clinical standards.

Supported by an experienced and knowledgeable team of around 11 staff members, the business offers a welcoming and professional environment where every team member is valued and encouraged to grow.

The Role

This opportunity would suit either an ambitious Dispensing Optician looking to progress into management, or an existing manager seeking the chance to put their own stamp on a successful practice.

You will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the practice, supporting patients with expert dispensing advice, leading by example, and helping drive continued growth and service excellence.

The role offers real autonomy and the chance to become an influential part of the leadership team.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Dispensing Optician
• Strong commercial awareness
• Genuine passion for customer care
• Confident in dispensing, team support, and building strong patient relationships
• Previous supervisory or management experience advantageous but not essential
• Motivated, professional, and excited by the opportunity to develop
