[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Audiology are recruiting for a dynamic Audiologist who is being sought to work in a mobile role to work throughout the Tayside area within High-end Independent optical & Hearing practices.

The right candidate must be:

• HCPC registered Audiologist / Hearing Aid Dispenser and have a valid driving licence
• Able to demonstrate an aptitude for working as a team member in promoting Hearing Care within an Optical environment
• Passionate about providing high quality care
• Enthusiastic working in a fast paced environment

Duties include:

• Carrying out examinations of patient’s ears to determine the health of the outer and inner ear
• Carrying out hearing assessments to determine the possible need for hearing correction
• Carrying out wax removals as required (training will be provided if necessary)
• Providing the best advice on which hearing systems may be most suitable for patient’s hearing loss and lifestyle requirements
• Programming these hearing aids and completing a rehabilitation process with the patient through a series of follow up appointments
• Managing hearing clinics, diary management and liaising with suppliers regarding products and technology requirements and stock
