Salary: 45k plus 5k car allowance + bonus
Working Pattern: 4 days per week (Between Monday and Friday)
Environment: Independent optical and hearing care setting
About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Audiologist or Hearing Aid Audiologist to join a well-established independent optical and hearing care provider in Tyne & Wear. This role offers the chance to be part of a growing business that is expanding its clinical services to include a dedicated hearing care offering.
The Role
As an Audiologist, you will play a key role in delivering and developing the hearing care service. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive hearing assessments, recommending appropriate solutions, and delivering a high standard of aftercare. This position offers a high level of clinical autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting full hearing assessments and diagnostics
- Recommending and fitting hearing aids
- Providing ongoing aftercare and support
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Supporting the overall delivery of a high-quality clinical service
- Working collaboratively with colleagues
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Audiologist or Hearing Aid Dispenser
- Registered with the HCPC
- Strong clinical ability and excellent communication skills
- Patient-focused approach
- Commercial awareness (desirable)
