The Role

As a Dispensing Optician, you will be responsible for delivering a high standard of professional dispensing, ensuring patients receive tailored advice on frames and lenses. You will work closely with the clinical team to provide a seamless patient journey, from consultation through to aftercare, maintaining a strong focus on quality and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispensing spectacles and advising on lens options
  • Supporting patients with frame selection
  • Taking accurate measurements
  • Carrying out fittings and adjustments
  • Maintaining high standards of customer care

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Dispensing Optician, registered with the GOC (Optical Advisor would also be considered)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience within an independent setting advantageous
