Job Description
An excellent opportunity has become available for a part-time Optical Assistant to join a well-established independent optical practice in the East Yorkshire area. Role & Responsibilities
- Meeting and greeting patients
- Booking and managing appointments
- Handling telephone enquiries
- Assisting with dispensing
- Carrying out fittings and adjustments
- Supporting general administrative duties
- Working alongside a small team including two colleagues and an Optometrist
Candidate Requirements
- Previous retail or customer service experience essential
- Experience in optics or dispensing desirable but not essential (training provided)
- Willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills
- Friendly and professional approach to patient care
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Driving licence preferred (occasional support at nearby branch)
