About the Role
We are seeking a technically capable Facilities Manager to take lead responsibility for the maintenance, performance and compliance of our building systems. Reporting to the Head of Property and Facilities, you will oversee all hard services and soft services, including planned and reactive maintenance, HVAC systems, building management systems (BMS), electrical and mechanical infrastructure, statutory inspections, cleaning and security. You will manage the CAFM system to ensure accurate logging, prioritisation and completion of works, and take day-to-day ownership of contractor performance, service delivery and asset reliability. The role also supports a busy conference and events environment, where dependable building services and operational readiness are critical, and includes line management responsibility for a small team.
About You
- Experienced hard-services or technically focused facilities professional
- Hands-on experience of facilities management in an occupied office environment
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, M&E services, BMS operation and statutory compliance
- NEBOSH qualification or equivalent (ideally)
- Confident managing contractors and service partners
- Organised, detail-driven and pragmatic with ability to diagnose issues
