The Role

Looking ahead, [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] has an ambitious capital plan extending to 2030 and beyond. Major projects include the Firoz Lalji Global Hub, a deep retrofit of a 1950s building targeting Passivhaus, BREEAM Outstanding and WELL Platinum standards; the redevelopment of 61 Aldwych into a flagship academic hub and gateway to the campus; and the transformation of Bankside House, [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]’s largest student residence, into a vibrant residential community of nearly 2,000 rooms. The Project Manager will play a key role in delivering this exciting programme. The role will lead the briefing, design, procurement and delivery of refurbishment, fit‑out and long‑term maintenance projects, typically up to £5 million in value, while supporting senior colleagues on major projects ranging from £20 million to £200 million. The postholder will manage complex programmes across the campus and residential estate, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards of quality, safety and sustainability.

Candidate Profile

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking an individual with a proven track record of planning and delivering projects in the £0.5 million to £5 million range, either in a client‑side role or as a consultant project manager. Experience of delivering refurbishment, reconfiguration and fit‑out projects within a live, multi‑building urban campus environment would be particularly advantageous.
