Lead Maintenance Engineer

Reporting into the UK Manufacturing and Global Development Manager, you will be responsible for the continuity of the Manufacturing operation through the reliability of all assets.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Implementing an exemplary PPM programme for the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] manufacturing maintenance process.
- Upkeep of a CMMS to track and monitor the efficiency of our existing systems and processes.
- Involvement in multiple projects across the site.
- Controlling spare parts inventory when required by the business.
- Managing and coordinating with external contractors on specific projects.
- Involvement in project management for the implementation of new processes and machinery.
- Conscious management of the Engineering budget to ensure we remain within our forecast.
- Suggesting process improvements when needed in times of high demand.
- Effective communication throughout the team when handling new or existing projects.
- Conducting root cause analysis investigations and providing suggestions on how to mitigate risks.
- Understanding equipment reliability regulations and actioning reasonable causes for concern.
What Are We Looking For?
- Previous experience working in the FMCG industry or similar business handling manufacturing machinery.
- Knowledge of QRmaint or CMMS Programmes.
- A bachelor's degree (BEng or MEng) in Mechanical Engineering would be desirable.
- Significant experience handling manufacturing machinery for a similar business.
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Highly organised and capable of delegating instructions effectively.
