Job Description
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is looking to appoint an experienced Senior National Account Manager to play a pivotal role in driving profitable national sales growth across our manufacturing and packaging portfolio.
Reporting to the Group Sales & Marketing Director, this senior position holds responsibility for managing national customer accounts, developing new business opportunities, and expanding existing relationships through commercially sound, long‑term partnerships. You will be instrumental in shaping [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]’s growth strategy by converting opportunity into sustainable revenue while ensuring alignment with operational capability and margin objectives.
This role sits at the heart of the business, working closely with Finance, Planning, Procurement, Production and Senior Leadership to ensure customer commitments are deliverable, commercially robust, and strategically aligned.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering sustained national sales growth through new business acquisition and account expansion
- Building and managing a high‑quality sales pipeline, converting opportunities into profitable contracts
- Negotiating commercial agreements aligned to margin targets and long‑term business strategy
- Managing national customer portfolios, ensuring retention, growth, and service excellence
- Identifying new markets, channels, and product applications to support long‑term growth
- Analysing sales data, forecasts, and KPIs to identify risks, trends, and opportunities
- Supporting and influencing sales activity through leadership, coaching, and guidance
- Collaborating cross‑functionally to align sales plans with production capacity and operational priorities

- Ensuring compliance with HSE, BRC, and company policies at all times
What We’re Looking For
You’ll bring proven experience in a senior sales or national account role, ideally within manufacturing, packaging, FMCG, or regulated environments. You are commercially disciplined, confident negotiating complex agreements, and comfortable operating at senior stakeholder level.
Experience within foil manufacturing or regulated production environments is highly desirable, alongside strong analytical skills and the ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across teams.
