What you'll be doing
- Surveying pitched and flat roofs and deciding on the right repair
- Replacing slates and tiles, re-bedding hip and ridge tiles, and pointing chimney stacks
- Repairing lead valleys and putting felt and asphalt flat roofs back to a watertight finish
- Clearing, repairing and replacing gutters, and fitting loft insulation
- Working safely at height – using ladders and scaffold towers properly, every time
- Talking to customers in their homes and explaining what you're doing

More about you
You're an experienced roofer who takes pride in doing the job properly and works safely without being told to. Essential requirements:
- Trade qualification in roofing (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent), or strong demonstrable experience
- Solid experience of pitched and flat roof repairs
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable using a phone or tablet to log your jobs
