The Role

You will be responsible for delivering thorough and professional eye examinations focused on achieving the best possible outcomes for patients. You will take time to understand each patient’s needs, explain findings clearly, and build lasting relationships that encourage repeat visits and recommendations. Alongside your clinical duties, you will support the development of the retail team by sharing optical knowledge and assisting with training where required. You will also help maintain the highest standards of patient care, technical accuracy, and practice performance.

Candidate Requirements

  • Fully qualified and GOC-registered Optometrist eligible to practice in the UK.
  • MECS accreditation preferred.
  • Confident working within a medium-paced environment while maintaining exceptional clinical standards and a patient-first approach.
  • Strong communication, organisation, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Genuine team player, adaptable, and motivated to contribute positively.
  • Availability to work Saturdays required.
