This is an excellent opportunity for an Optometrist seeking weekend work while developing their clinical career across refractive surgery, cataract care, premium intraocular lens procedures, and advanced eye examinations.

Clinical Environment

The role is based within a specialist private eye care clinic where the focus is on delivering outstanding patient care, strong clinical outcomes, and a high-quality patient experience.

You will be involved in a varied range of clinical duties, including pre-operative and post-operative consultations for refractive and cataract surgery patients, clinical support for Ophthalmologists, and essential and advanced eye examinations.

Salary and Benefits

Up to £70,000 pro rata, depending on experience. Additional benefits may include performance-related salary enhancement, pension, paid professional fees, indemnity cover, access to CET and clinical development, and staff treatment discounts.

Training, Support and Development

Full refractive and cataract surgery training provided. You will receive day-to-day support from an experienced professional team, alongside access to wider specialist clinical guidance.

  • Qualified and GOC-registered Optometrist
  • Strong clinical standards
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Patient-first approach
  • Confident working in a multidisciplinary clinical environment
  • Interest in refractive surgery, cataract care, premium lens procedures, or Independent Prescribing advantageous
