We are close to both Biggar and West Linton and less than 20 minutes from Peebles. Our dedicated team shares a common mission: to offer compassionate support to those overcoming addiction.

We’re looking for a Catering Assistant who can help fuel this important journey, serving nutritious and delicious meals that nourish both patients and staff.

Key responsibilities

As a Catering Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in preparing and serving up to 200 nutritious meals daily, ensuring both our patients and staff are well-nourished and supported. You will:

  • Assist chefs in meal preparation and presentation
  • Contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen
  • Serve meals with care, warmth, and professionalism
  • Uphold high standards of hygiene and food safety
  • Occasionally, drive our kitchen van and manage deliveries

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience in hospitality or food preparation (1 year preferred)
  • Familiarity with HACCP standards and food safety practices
  • A collaborative team player with strong communication skills
  • Ability to work weekends
  • A valid driver’s license due to the remote location of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]

Schedule

  • Full-time (Fixed Term): 40 hours per week
  • Flexible rota across 7 days
  • Shifts: 06h30 – 14h30 or 10h30 – 18h30
