FULL DESCRIPTION

Domestic Cleaner - Adults Residential

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Domestic Cleaner for its residential service in Merston, Bognor Regis. This part-time role (20 hours/week) offers £13.50/hour and involves cleaning duties in a care home setting for adults with learning disabilities.

Duties Include

  • Cleaning residents’ bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas (dusting, hoovering, mopping, emptying bins, wiping surfaces, laundry).
  • Working flexibly around residents’ daily routines (e.g., accessing rooms when they are out in the community).
  • Liaising with the Shift Leader to prioritise tasks.
  • Safe use and storage of cleaning products in line with COSHH.
  • Assisting the chef with a monthly deep clean of the kitchen.
  • Ordering and monitoring cleaning supplies.

Hours and Pay

  • Part-time: 20 hours per week (approx. 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday, between 8am–4pm. Exact days/hours to be agreed at interview.)
  • Pay: £13.50 per hour.

About You

  • Previous housekeeping/cleaning experience is desirable.
  • COSHH knowledge preferred (training provided if needed).
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Respectful, reliable, and able to work sensitively in people’s homes.
