Multi Skilled Engineer - Food Packing Environment

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is currently looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join their team in Atherstone-on-Stour. The role involves carrying out both electrical and mechanical planned maintenance activity, reacting to breakdowns, and finding/eliminating root-cause of problems. The ideal candidate will be a proven multi-skilled engineer with experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, able to work independently and aware of Health & Safety regulations applicable to the food industry. Occasional handyman work to support office and plumbing may be required.

Duties

• Perform electrical and mechanical planned maintenance
• React to breakdowns and perform root-cause analysis
• Work independently and follow Health & Safety regulations
• Support office and plumbing tasks as needed

Skills and Experience

• Ability to follow instructions from machinery technical teams via telephone support
• Good communication skills for internal and external stakeholders
• Experience with machinery, refrigeration, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrics, and industrial facilities preferred
• Knowledge of fault finding and solving essential
• Experience with industrial boilers, servicing, and power flushing advantageous
• Mechanical and electrical engineering qualifications to HNC level or equivalent
• Nationally Accredited Certified Scheme (ACS) Commercial Gas
• Must live within commuting distance of Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire
