The Role

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Group has an exciting opportunity for a Data Scientist based in Belfast. You will work within the Group Data Office, reporting to the Head of Data & Analytics. Responsibilities include problem definition, data sourcing, model building and testing, deployment, and evaluation. You will use statistical models, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and tools like Power BI.

What You'll Need

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or related field.
  • Extensive post-academic experience in Data Analytics, Data Science and/or Machine Learning; proficiency in SQL, Python and Databricks.
  • Experience with statistical modelling techniques (GLM, logistic regression, deep learning, Bayesian methods, etc.) and ML pipelines (MLOps, Git, MLFlow).
  • Experience of AI/GenAI development frameworks, such as Azure AI Foundry.
  • Experience working in an agile manner.
