Support Worker (Female) - Waterlooville

Salary: £13.57 per hour | Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time (20 hours per week) | Working Hours: Morning 9:00am-12:00pm, Evening 5:30pm-7:30pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday

About the Role

This role is about helping our client live an independent, enjoyable, and fulfilling life, whilst living with complex clinical needs. Support will take place both in her home and out in the community.

The Role

You will support our client to:

  • Promote independence and confidence
  • Pursue hobbies and interests
  • Enjoy time in the community
  • Support in the client's home

Activities may include:

  • Meeting friends and family
  • Visiting the beach or country parks
  • Shopping trips
  • Dog walking
  • Arts and crafts

Training & Support

No previous experience is required. Full bespoke training will be provided by one of our regional nurses, covering:

  • Medication administration
  • Enteral feeding
  • Ventilation
  • Oxygen administration
  • Nutrition and hydration
  • Clinical observations
  • MPS

Requirements

  • Female applicant (genuine occupational requirement)
  • 1:1 support role
  • Part-time availability
  • Driving licence preferred
  • Non-smoker / non-vaper
  • Must like dogs and be comfortable walking and feeding them
