Role Purpose

The Real Estate Department is expanding and seeking an associate, ideally an individual someone at the early stage of their post‑qualification career. You will be joining a friendly, fast‑paced team and handle high‑quality work, managing smaller transactions and support senior team members on high‑value, and complex projects. There are strong opportunities to develop skills and work closely with key clients. You will have exposure to Landlord & Tenant transactions, Acquisitions and Disposals of business and investment properties, corporate support and Real Estate finance transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a range of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, licences, and property management matters under appropriate supervision.
  • Draft, review and negotiate property documents, such as leases, agreements for lease, sale contracts, title reports, deeds of variation, and ancillary documents.
  • Conduct due diligence, including reviewing title documents, searches, planning information, and raising and responding to enquiries.
  • Assist senior lawyers on larger, high‑value or complex transactions, providing research, document preparation, and transaction management support.
  • Manage smaller matters independently, progressing files, liaising with clients, and ensuring deadlines are met.
