Job Description

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a values based modern security services company. We provide Handyman Services to a stunning luxury development in one of Wembley’s most exciting up-and-coming areas based in Greater London, England. We are seeking a well-presented, articulate, reliable team player to provide Handyman services for our contract in Wembley, HA9.

Duties

  • Basic repairs and fixings.
  • Changing light bulbs.
  • Basic plumbing, toilets, sinks with plugs, showers etc.
  • Ad-hoc for gardening (e.g if weed killer needs to be sprayed on the landscape).
  • Repairs inside apartments such as wardrobes etc
  • Reporting non conformances to Operation Manager i.e. defective bulbs etc.
  • Daily safety checks
  • Passionate about creating a clean, positive, and safe environment for residents, guests, and the team this will be done through litter picking, window cleaning, metal polishing, and painting.
  • Expert in customer service, using this expertise to lead, engage, and inspire others.
  • Proactive in seeking opportunities to drive the performance of the development.
  • Skilled in handling feedback effectively in the moment, serving as the main point of contact for all queries.

Service Provision and Compliance

Ensure that service level agreements with the client are met and that any shortfalls are documented and reported to the Operations Manager. Support and maintain policies and procedures in accordance with legislation. Support colleagues at both the client and [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] HQ with regards to requirements pertaining to access and egress.

Requirements

  • Ensuring all working equipment is working properly e.g. site phone.
  • Values and supports the team, building strong working relationships with residents, guests, and external contractors.
  • Has a track record of delivering great customer service, managing complaints, working safely, and thriving in a team environment.
  • Skilled in handling feedback effectively in the moment, serving as the main point of contact for all queries.

  • Passionate about creating a positive and safe environment for residents, guests, and the team.
  • Account for previous 5 years.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Experience in customer facing environments.
  • Flexible for covering additional shifts.
  • Enthusiasm and motivation to be a performance-driven team player.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a willingness to work flexibly and to tight deadlines.
  • Data management and strong record keeping skills.
