Fire Warden / Waking Watch Officer

Duties

Ensure safe evacuation of building during fire alarms.
Perform visual searches to ensure no one is left inside.
Monitor fire safety through frequent checks of escape routes, exits, and equipment.
Assist with fire risk assessments and emergency plans.
Provide fire briefings and support personal emergency evacuation plans (PEEPs).
Control safe evacuation and support fire drills.
Monitor health and safety compliance and report faults.
Protect property through patrols and monitoring of alarm systems.
Prevent loss and waste by enforcing security procedures.
Monitor and respond to alarms, CCTV, and access control.

Requirements

In-date SIA license.
Right to work in the UK.
Experience in customer-facing environment (hospitality, customer service, or corporate security).
Flexibility for additional shifts.
Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
