We are seeking a well-presented, articulate, reliable team player to provide frontline Static Security Officer for our contract in East London, E16.

Hours of Work

  • Monday 17:00 – 01:00
  • Tuesday 17:00 – 01:00
  • Wednesday 17:00 – 01:00
  • Thursday 17:00 – 01:00
  • Friday 15:00 – 03:00
  • Saturday 15:00 – 03:00
  • Sunday 17:00 – 01:00

Duties

Protection of Life

  • Monitoring of health and safety compliance (wearing of PPE).
  • Reporting or dealing with maintenance requirements (slip hazards).
  • Monitoring of alarm systems.

Protection of Property and Premises

  • Monitoring of alarm systems and security equipment.
  • Vigilant patrolling.

Preventing Loss and Waste

  • Theft prevention, searching staff/visitors as per instructions.
  • Maintaining confidentiality.
  • Reducing waste (e.g., switching off unneeded equipment).

Preventing Crime

  • Robbery, burglary, criminal damage, theft, assault, etc.
  • Implementing search procedures.
  • Monitoring alarms and CCTV.
  • Controlling access and exit.

Requirements

  • A passion for customer care and sensitivity to clients' needs.
  • In-date SIA licence.
  • Account for previous 5 years.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Experience in busy customer service environment (hospitality, customer service, or corporate security).
  • Flexible for covering additional shifts.
  • Enthusiasm and motivation.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Data management and strong record keeping skills.
