Caretaker

We're [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]! We're looking for a Caretaker to join our team in Eastleigh. This is a full-time, permanent role working 39 hours per week. Salary £27,277 + up to £1,800 bonus + use of company van.

The Vacancy

As a caretaker, you'll deliver a consistent caretaking service to the communal areas of our housing blocks and properties. Responsibilities include clearing bin areas, clearing fly tipping, cleaning communal hallways, testing fire alarms and safety equipment. You will:

  • Follow a rota and pattern of work
  • Maintaining sites to a set frequency and standard
  • Working to a defined specification
  • Adhere to our 7 step first class repairs service
  • Complete fire safety compliance checks

You'll complete electronic records, identify and resolve minor repairs, and change communal lamps. Ideally you have previous cleaning/janitorial experience, operating cleaning machinery, basic maintenance skills, and a category B driving licence.
