Land & Buildings Officer
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Land & Buildings Officer. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Nottingham. Salary band: £33,945 - £37,336 per year. Closing date: February 12, 2024.
Purpose of Role
As an experienced property person with strong administration skills, you will liaise with and advise parishes on the suitability of schemes for repair, maintenance and improvement, including visiting parishes. To ensure that all diocesan properties are used, occupied and maintained for appropriate purposes in accordance with statutory regulations, the Landlord & Tenant Act, insurance requirements, diocesan requirements and charity law. To advise and support colleagues in the diocese and parishes with all property matters in a professional, courteous and timely manner.
Key Details
- Department/Parish: Curia Central Office
- Based at: Diocesan Curial Office (DCO) (currently St Hugh’s House). Post holder will be required to work at any other DCO location and will be expected to visit parishes as necessary. There is an opportunity for some home working – days to be agreed with Line Manager and flexibility will be required from time to time.
- Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week
