[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is looking for a Financial Crime Investigator to join the Financial Crime team in Farnborough. This is a permanent full-time role (37.5 hours/week) with an initial on-site requirement transitioning to hybrid after probation.

What you will do at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]:

  • Use your knowledge, skills, and instincts to review customer account activity and support Member Services and Operations Teams.
  • Ensure adherence to AML and Global Sanctions requirements.
  • Work to keep business fraud cost optimal while minimising impact on genuine customers.
  • Manage complex investigations from transaction monitoring alerts, internal escalations, and external referrals.
  • Conduct financial crime data analysis and identify suspicious activity.
  • Review inbound UK chargebacks and provide Financial Crime assessment.
  • Complete Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) & Sanctions Reviews.
  • Manage reporting of suspicious activity (SARs) and comply with POCA.
  • Action DPA requests.
  • Develop knowledge of credit card fraud and fraud recovery.

What you will bring to [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]:

  • 2-3 years of experience in fraud analytics, AML, financial crime, risk analytics within financial services.
  • Strong understanding of payments fraud, AML, CTF, KYC, and internal fraud practices.
  • Hands-on experience in deep-dive investigations and familiarity with financial crime detection tools.
  • Strong ability to recognise patterns and anomalies.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple investigations under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work across departments collaboratively.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
  • Well-organized with basic Excel skills.
