Our unique blend of expertise in both health and regulation sets us apart, and with more than two decades of experience, we have managed many thousands of regulatory cases from initial investigation through to preparation and final presentation. We act for health and social care regulators, alongside regulators in the veterinary/equine, legal services, education and surveyor sectors. The Role and Responsibilities
As demand for our work continues to rise nationally, you will play a key role in shaping and expanding our practice. You will work closely with health, social care and education regulators, among others, supporting our clients and helping them navigate some of the most significant challenges facing the regulatory landscape today. As an advocate within our Regulatory Division, you will be at the forefront of case presentation. Your practice will consist of final Substantive Hearings and representing regulators at interim applications and Case Management Hearings. For those with the relevant experience, there is also scope to appear in the High Court or the Privy Council on appeals arising from regulatory decisions, as well as seeking extensions to interim orders. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a caseload including matters involving dishonesty, fraud, sexual misconduct, and serious concerns around professional performance
- Presenting cases before panels and tribunals
- Contributing to shaping cases that are presented at final hearings by working closely with other [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]’ lawyers and our regulatory clients

- Drafting allegations
- Preparing opening notes and case summaries, and producing high quality written applications and skeleton arguments
- Helping clients interpret statutory powers and respond to emerging developments in regulation.
- Collaborating with clients on continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to training programmes for panel members and in house teams
As a growing number of regulatory cases seek to rely upon material or findings from the Family Court, you may also be called upon to advise on or draft applications seeking permission to utilise Family Court material or present such applications.

We are looking for driven and talented advocates, whether barristers, solicitor advocates, or solicitors with strong experience in:
