Hybrid Working
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] has an established team doing defendant clinical negligence work in London on behalf of both NHS Trusts and GPs. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team delivering this work in London and developing existing relationships with health care organisations. We are looking for applicants who can demonstrate that they have a genuine interest in healthcare, who wish to develop their career in this area of law and are excited by this opportunity.

The Division

The Clinical Law Claims Division comprises around 90 fee earners over three offices (Wimbledon, Leeds and Birmingham). The firm has been a member of NHS Resolution’s panel of lawyers since its inception. It is ranked number one in the legal directories for defendant clinical negligence work. The Role and Responsibilities

The role will involve managing a caseload of complex and high value claims on instructions from NHS Resolution. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work closely with a Partner who will supervise your work and there will be opportunities for client contact and business development.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will be expected to have extensive defendant clinical negligence litigation experience and be well-versed in understanding the needs of our client base, preferably gained at a NHS Resolution Panel firm, together with experience of handling and advising on cases involving complex issues and maximum severity injuries. Experience of managing claims against GPs is an advantage but not essential.

Inclusive Employer

We will make reasonable adjustments to our application and interview process to ensure that you have the best chance of success. We understand that there's not a "one size fits all" approach to adjustments so our team will work with you individually to understand more about your requirements.
