What we are looking for

  • Engagement Skills: Ability to engage learners and support their ambitions.
  • Emotional Support: Passionate about making a positive impact on students’ lives.
  • Academic Background: Degree in a Relevant Teaching Subject, equivalent for SEN (desirable).
  • Core Teaching Qualifications: QTS/QTLS or willingness to work towards it.
  • Experience: Worked in a school environment, secondary school preferred.
  • Teaching Subjects: English, Maths, and Science proficiency (grade 4/C or higher).
  • Knowledge: Understanding of alternative provision and special needs.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication skills.
  • Commitment to equality, diversity, safeguarding, wellbeing, and British values.
  • Time Management for planning, delivery, and assessment.
