Creative Producer

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Creative Producer to lead the creative direction of larger-scale event briefs. Based in Manchester (office-based with UK travel), this full-time role reports to the Event Delivery Manager.

Role Overview

Responsible for leading the creative direction of larger-scale event briefs, this role develops concepts from initial idea through to execution. Working closely with sales, production, and design teams, you’ll ensure every proposal is both creatively compelling and deliverable, maintaining strong alignment with client objectives, brand identity, and budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creative Development & Pitching: Lead the creative response to event briefs over £10k; develop concepts, themes, and experiential ideas; prepare and present proposals, storyboards, and mood boards; join client meetings for brief taking and pitch presentations.
  • Collaboration & Direction: Work closely with CRMs, CD, S&M Director, Event Producers, and Designers; communicate creative direction clearly to internal teams; balance creative ambition with practical delivery requirements.
  • Creative Delivery & Execution: Oversee creative execution from pre-production through to on-site delivery; ensure all elements reflect intended tone, experience, and brand standards; supervise creative outputs including stage design, video, motion graphics, and scripts; maintain consistency across physical, digital, and hybrid experiences.
  • Planning, Budget & Resource Management: Work with Producers to scope deliverables and manage creative budgets; identify and brief freelance creatives or specialist agencies; manage timelines for creative development and approvals.
  • Quality Control & Innovation: Review all creative outputs to ensure they meet [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] and client standards; evaluate creative performance post-event and capture learnings; contribute to ongoing creative innovation, trends, and new ideas within the agency.

Essential Requirements

  • 3+ years experience within events or related creative industry
  • Strong understanding of event production or design project workflows
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills
  • Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and margins
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
