Technical Skills Coach / Tutor - Plumbing & Gas
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Group is looking for a Technical Skills Coach Plumbing & Gas to join our Apprenticeship Department at the Slough & Langley College campus on a full time, permanent basis. The role pays from L34 £41,096 up to L37 £44,165.00 dependent on experience and qualifications.
Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and organised individual to support and mentor a caseload of Plumbing and Gas apprentices across our Slough and Langley campus. In this rewarding role, you will coach learners to develop their skills, knowledge and behaviours, helping them succeed in the workplace and achieve their end point assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach learners to develop skills, knowledge, and behaviours
- Carry out regular progress reviews with apprentices and employers
- Use digital tools such as e-portfolios and Microsoft Teams to track development
- Ensure compliance with funding and audit requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Level 3 qualification in Plumbing and Heating
- Gas qualifications (CCN1 and CENWAT)
- Assessor Award (CAVA/A1) or willingness to work towards
- Experience supporting apprentices in training or education environment
- Teaching qualification or curriculum delivery background (desirable)
